How to Transfer Tap Protocol to CEX

After Tap unlocked some tokens and got listed on multiple exchanges, it became evident that the team lacked communication experience. At the very least, there should have been documentation for transferring to exchanges or bridging across chains. Today, I’ll guide you through transferring Tap from Xverse Wallet to a CEX, step by step

For anyone who has purchased from Coinlist, this article is a must read.

Listing event and CEX partners

Tap will live on 23rd October at 12:00 UTC on the following Centralized and Decentralized exchanges:

Kucoin : ERC-20 pair TAP/USDT at 12:00 UTC (need to bridge first)
Gate : TAP Mainnet pair TAP/USDT at 12:00 UTC
Mexc: TAP Mainnet pair TAP/USDT at 12:00 UTC
Uniswap: TAP/USDT pair at TBD to avoid sniping bots.
Taparooswap: BTC/TAP pair at TBD (for bridge from BTC > ETH Chain)

Transfer your airdrop to another wallet or CEX

I will use 3rd party platform SATX

First check if you has received an airdrop at Tapalytics

Example Wallet you will see this wallet has 1,041 Tap

1. Transfer BTC to Native BTC Address for GAS (not ordinals address)

use Bitcoin Address only to receive BTC from Exchange

Fee : you should prepare BTC for Gas around 10$
(Not included Transfer Fee from Exchange)

2. Inscribe Transfer with selected amount

go to satx tap inscribe > Connect Wallet > Click Transfer option
Tick : tap
Amount : put amount you want to transfer
(you can check your tap balance at Tapalytics)
after that click preview and inscribe (gas fee around 2$ for each step)

3. Transfer to CEX

after inscription you can see your inscriptions in Collectibles Features (Diamond Icon in Xverse Wallet)
or in SatX Website (click on your wallet address > My Assets)
